Current CCE format

The current RACGP CCE uses nine clinical cases. Four are Case Discussions and five are Clinical Encounters. Each case includes five minutes of reading time followed by 15 minutes of assessment time. The CCE is currently delivered online.

Some GP registrars may be eligible for Australian Government or training-program payments linked to training location, relocation, education or rural workforce incentives. Eligibility, payment amounts and permitted uses vary by program and may change.

Before relying on any payment to fund exam preparation, check the current rules with your training organisation and the relevant Australian Government program.

National Consistent Payments Framework: current support arrangements for eligible AGPT participants and specified other eligible registrars.

Rural and remote incentives: eligibility depends on program rules, location, training status and other criteria.

HELP and workforce initiatives: separate eligibility rules apply and may not relate directly to course fees.
